€1m fund to attract scientific researchers to Ireland

A fund of €1m is being provided to attract world-class scientific researchers to Ireland.

The State funding is being channelled through Science Foundation Ireland's Walton Visitor Programme.

It will provide for 16 researchers to come to Ireland to carry out their research.
