Waterford Crystal investors plan new glass-production centre

New investors in Waterford Crystal plan to start a new glass-production centre in the city which will employ up to 100 people.

Waterford-Wedgewood, which closed last year, employed 800 people at its peak.

The new operation is expected to produce around 40,000 pieces each year and will also include a visitor centre.
